1st Post... Hello, and props. (sorry, long)

Hello all!

I've been "hiding" in the background for many months now, and I have finally decided to join the group.

I found this forum, sheesh, almost a year ago now (May or June, I think), and have been enjoying reading (weekly, almost daily) the constant help, advice and support that this forum gives to its members. I must say that although everyone here is helpful, there are a few that although I have yet to meet or talk to you, I already have a large amount of respect for...
Jim (JRCivic), Greg (Holden), Mr.Rogers, and several others whose names I can't seem to remember at the moment.

Anyway, a little about me: I have a 94 Civic EX coupe. It's lightly modded (see sig, and some very subtle cosmetics, too), and I figured that since I hadn't done anything substantial (swap &/or fi) to it, I wasn't quite qualified to "join the club". But that is just about over!! biggrin

In less than 3 weeks, I will have a nice OBD-1 B18C1 breathing fresh life (and power biggrin

) for me. Oh, FYI, I am planning on going FI (JRSC) as soon as I can afford it. One thing at a time. I'll probably want a Quaiffe 1st, or swap my rear brakes to disk... yadda, yadda...

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I have been amused and have gained a lot of knowledge "listening" to all of you, and can only say one thing: THANK YOU!

Also, another THANK YOU to Steven (1QuickSI) for buying Hostboard -- YOU are da MAN!

PS - Sorry this was so long. Also, I ain't tryin' to kiss butt. This is simply THE best modified Honda/Acura BB I've found, and when I do take time to read posts, I usually end up losing an hour or 2 in the process. Not a good thing when I read posts on my lunch break here at work...

I would like to first welcome you aboard and secondly thankyou for the shout out. I have learned so damn much from this board and the people from it that it makes it so enjoable to share the knowledge. Even though you aren't FI yet, don't be discouraged. I joined this board the day I returned from Cali with my GSR and now look at me biggrin

The best advice I can give you about posting and asking questions is to search the archives first (as you probably have found out from being around for a whole year without posting) because even though most are happy to answer questions, the recycled ones usually go unanswered. Zach -- you're one of the ones that slipped my mind in the props list, sorry.

I know that there are several 5G hybriders here, and I'm hoping to pick your brains from time to time. Also, it seems that there are several new members here all at once. A good thing to be sure!
